THE EVENT
This online event will explore the workflow involved in forensic casework dealing with burnt human remains, with particular emphasis on identification and the interpretation of skeletal trauma. A series of case studies will illustrate how forensic anthropology and forensic odontology can contribute to investigative processes.
The webinar aims to provide a realistic perspective on the changes that biological tissues undergo when exposed to fire, and how these alterations can affect both trauma analysis and the identification of remains.
The session takes place on June 11, 2026 at 4PM CET and is presented by Joe Adserias-Garriga.
