Forensic Facial Comparison is a manual process involving the comparison of two or more facial images to determine whether they belong to the same person. Unlike facial recognition, which is automated, this process represents the final step in image analysis. Its primary purpose is to confirm a person’s identity or, in cases of no match, to exclude individuals of known identity.
The software can automatically extract the most suitable frame of a subject from a large set of images or video content. Additionally, it guides the expert through the comparison process, following ENFSI guidelines and, ensuring objectivity and efficiency.
