Last week, we traveled to Lyon, France, for the 16th ENFHEX Conference (The European Network of Forensic Handwriting Experts). This year’s theme was “From Edmond Locard to artificial intelligence: adapting forensic handwriting examination to modern times.”
During these days, we shared our advances in forensic handwriting examination and connected with professionals from all around the world. Thank you to everyone who came to meet us.
👨🏻💻 At our booth we presented and demonstrated our new software, “Zibian Labs Forensic Handwriting Examination,” a document analysis software using AI to help handwriting examiners. You can learn more about this new program here.
🧑🏫 Enrique Bermejo and Alejandro Manzanares gave a talk entitled “Support system for document analysis through the detection and recognition of handwritten documents.” In this talk, we presented recent advances in Artificial Intelligence and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for handwritten text analysis, and discussed their potential to enhance efficiency in forensic processes.
