Workshop on 3D imaging and AI in México and Perú
WORKSHOPS
This April, our team traveled to México and Perú and taught four workshops in different institutions, like police forces, legal medicine institutes and Universities. For us, it has been a unique experience to meet forensics from all kinds of backgrounds, learn their daily challenges and exchange knowledge.
During the full-day workshops, attendees learned how to obtain 3D images for human identification and how to scan bones. During the practical part, our team showed how to work with 2D and 3D images in Skeleton-ID, how to place craniofacial landmarks, and how the software can be used for human identification.
